Eternity Funeral Care is a family run business within the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Built from the bottom out of love and moral righteousness, our funeral home has become an important part of our family and has seen itself through 3 generations.

Unknowingly entering the industry in 2007 as a first-time, young mother, working in administration work at another funeral home, our Owner Leigh had no idea what to expect. For her, this job very quickly turned into a passion that could not be ignored.

Disagreeing with the ethics and morals of the first funeral home that she was with, became the reason behind Leigh approaching her father with the wish to start her own funeral home.

Our Celebrants

Anna Wong

Hi. My name is Anna and I have been a Civil Celebrant for 10 years. Originally from England where I trained as a Nurse and Midwife, I moved to Singapore in 1980 and spent 25 years there as a Childbirth Educator. I moved to Melbourne in 2004 and followed my passion to help families by training as a Celebrant and creating ceremonies that honour and celebrate major events in their life?s journey. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 5.

Working with such a wide spectrum of individuals; from couples who are planning their wedding day, young parents who want to bless their new baby to grieving families who want to honour and celebrate the life of their loved one is truly a privilege and honour.

For funerals I will always meet with the family beforehand which gives me an opportunity to introduce myself and get an insight into the life of their lost loved one. This allows me to create and conduct a unique and personalised service that truly reflects and honours the individuality of their family member. It is most fulfilling and humbling to be able to help a grieving family say their final farewell in a compassionate and meaningful way which hopefully allows them to continue on their journey of grief with love and peace in their hearts.
