A metal urn with ashes of a dead person

In Australia, over 65% of the population choose cremation services. For some cultures and religions, it is their preferred option. For others, it is a cost-effective and practical alternative. Charges for a cremation include the cremation process (and if applicable the hire of a crematorium chapel) – these costs are vary depending on the crematorium chosen.

Most funerals held in a crematorium chapel have a service time of 35-45 minutes, however if you require a longer service or are expecting a very large group of mourners, it is advisable to pay a little extra for extended use of the chapel. We will arrange this on your behalf at the time of booking the chapel.

Should you wish to have a service in a church this can be also be organised. Ultimately the funeral service location is entirely up to family’s personal preference and choice.

Usually, the ashes are made available within approximately 48-72 hours (once all processes have been completed), or upon request within 24 hours.
